Day 01
Arrive Delhi

Welcome to the Historic city of Delhi! Following your arrival late in the evening, you will be met upon arrival by Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02

This morning, capture the essence of Old Delhi and New Delhi
Enjoy a guided tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi which includes a visit Laxmi Narayan Temple drive past the Red Fort, ending the tour with a visit to the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, to Raj Ghat, the simple but moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Later drive past the imposing India Gate (War Memorial Arch), the Parliament buildings and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's residence) and end with a visit to Qutab Minar, a masterpiece of perfect proportions.
  • Visitors are required to take their shoes off before entering the Jama Masjid.
  • Shorts, sleeveless tops, revealing clothes are not allowed inside Jama Masjid

Day 03
Delhi - Mandawa

Today you will drive to Mandawa (Shekhwati)
Drive to the fabulous Shekhawati region which is also known as the open air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. On arrival check in to you hotel in Mandawa.
In the late afternoon visit the old havelis in Mandawa famous for its paintings and frescoes.

Day 04
Mandawa - Bikaner

Today you will be driven to the beautiful town of Bikaner.
This morning you will proceed on a drive to Bikaner and on arrival, check into your hotel.
Afternoon tour of the Junagarh Fort and local bazzar.
Enjoy an afternoon tour of the Junagarh Fort built in the 15th century by one of the most able and trusted generals of Akbar, Raja Raj Singh. Inside the fort is a profusion of 37 palaces, temples and pavilions that are marvels in red sandstone construction.

Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Morning drive to the Desert City of Jaisalmer.
Today you will be driven to Jaisalmer, where on arrival you will check into your hotel.

Day 06

Morning tour of the Jaisalmer Fort In the morning explore one of the largest forts of the world - the Jaisalmer Fort. Built in 1156 the fort stands proudly amidst the golden stretches of the great Thar Desert. The majestic fort's yellow sandstone walls are a tawny lion colour during the day and turn to a magical honey-gold during the sunset against the picturesque yellow desert. During your tour visit the Gadisagar Lake - a rainwater reservoir built in 1367, which was once the city's only source of water. Also visit the delightful Folklore Museum with its collection of informative displays of folk art. Also visit the famous Nathwon and Patwon ki Havelis.
Afternoon Camel ride at the Dunes at Sunset
In the afternoon drive out of the city towards the dunes to view the sunset on the picturesque sand dunes. The ripples on the wind-caressed dunes creating an enchanting mirage are surely a delight. An exciting camel ride on the sandy terrain will allow you to get the real feel of the desert.

Day 07
Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

This morning drive to Jodhpur
In the morning you will be driven to Jodhpur On arrival in Jodhpur, check into your hotel. Later sightseeing tour of Jodhpur.
Late afternoon enjoy a guided tour of Jodhpur, which includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. The 5-kilometre long majestic Mehrangarh Fort is set on a 125 metre high hill and is one of the most impressive and formidable structures. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces. Continue to Jaswant Thada which is located a short distance from the fort and is a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.

Day 08
Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur

This morning drive to Udaipur en-route visiting Ranakpur.
In the morning you will be driven to Udaipur en- route visiting the beautiful Jain Temples at Ranakpur. Built in light coloured marble, the temple is dedicated to Adinatha and is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. The Ranakpur temple can be called a treasure house of pillars, which have been arranged in such a manner that none of them obstructs the view of the Lord's image from any corner of the temple. On arrival in Jodhpur, check into your hotel.

Day 09

Morning excursion to visit to Eklingi & Nagda Temple.
This morning enjoy a half day excursion of the Nagda and Eklingji Temples. Nagda temple comprises of a majestic pair of 11th century temple of Saas-Bahu, literally, 'Mother and Daughter-in-law Temples' dedicated to Vishnu are located here. Continue to Eklingji, which is a complex of 108 temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The main temple is built of marble and granite and dates back to the 16th century. The walled complex includes an elaborately pillared hall under a large pyramidal roof and features a four-faced Shiva image of black marble.

Eklingji Temples are not accessible during the Maharana's visit on Monday
In the afternoon explore the marvellous treasures of Udaipur on a City Tour.
Enjoy a half day guided tour of Udaipur, which includes a visit to the City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari, built in 1567, the City Palace stands on a hill on the banks of Lake Pichola and is surrounded by crenulated walls. City Palace is an intriguing mixture of Rajput and military architecture and Mughal-style ornamental techniques. Its firm, fortress-like facade, topped by a plethora of graceful balconies, cupolas and turrets, has been justly described as a massive plain cake topped with fabulous icing.
Continue to Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of honour), a small ornamental garden which was a popular relaxing spot where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name.

Day 11

Morning tour of the Hilltop Citadel - Amber Fort
In the morning, proceed for a guided tour of the fabulous Amber Fort, en route taking a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal. Located at the top of a hill, Amber Fort offers spectacular view of the old town below, where Akbar stopped en route on his annual pilgrimage to Ajmer.
Afternoon City tour of Pink City
Enjoy a tour of the Pink City, an "abode of the rajahs". The highlights of the tour include a visit to the City Palace Museum, with its superb collection of Rajasthani costumes and armoury, followed by a visit to the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory.

Day 12
Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Today you will be driven to Agra - the Erstwhile Mughal Capital! Visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute
In the morning you will proceed on a drive to Agra, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - the beautiful deserted capital of Emperor Akbar. Explore the environs of this historic monument that was built by Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son only to be abandoned after 14 years due to lack of water. On arrival in Jaipur, you will check into your hotel.
Later proceed for a visit of the Enchanting Taj Mahal
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), where bicycle rickshaws will transfer you to the gates of this mesmerising monument. Built by emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is a masterpiece in marble and one of the world's most famous landmarks.

Agra - Delhi

In the morning proceed for your visit of the Agra Fort.
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort. This citadel has fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates and Sikandra the Tomb of Akbar
Later you will proceed on a drive to Delhi visiting Sikandra (The Tomb of Akbar) en-route
